What is a Chiropractic Adjustment?

A trained specialist (a chiropractor) uses their hands or a small instrument to apply a controlled, sudden force to a spinal joint. The ultimate goal of a chiropractic adjustment is to correct structural alignment and improve the function of your nervous system.

Is it safe?

Yes it is! Chiropractic is a non-invasive, non-surgical, conservative approach to healthcare. The International Chiropractic Association states that "records from insurance and court cases have constantly shown that chiropractic is the safest portal of entry health care available to the public today. Although no healthcare procedures are 100% safe, chiropractic stands on its record of safety and effectiveness unmatched in healthcare."

What does my spine have to do with my health?

Your spine protects your spinal cord and nerves. Your nerves carry signals from your brain to your organs, muscles, and immune system while enabling your body to heal itself. Preventing sickness and promoting well-being relies on the condition of your overall spine and nervous system. An aligned spine can determine whether your body is maximizing its human potential. The doctors at The Link align your spine to optimize your nerve function. That way, every healthy choice you make, has a lasting impact.

Why should I see a Chiropractor?

Chiropractors are the doctors to see for non-surgical, non-invasive, conservative resolution of spinal discomforts or injuries. Whether those injuries are attained on the job, in an auto accident, training for your next race, fight, or dance, or just simply spending too much time at the office, we can help. The doctors at The Link are trained spine and nervous system specialists that can help you or a loved one with an array of conditions.
